The Frankie application, formerly known as OkidoKey, offers an integrated in-app keyboard featuring a plain text editor alongside a system-wide keyboard extension. It also includes an auto-copy clipboard editor designed for seamless input without the necessity of creating or opening dedicated documents.

The keyboard extension supports multiple input methods within a single interface, enabling users to type in English without switching keyboards. It provides functionalities such as emoji support, lexicon management, spell checks, predictive text, and intelligent punctuation, all aimed at improving typing efficiency.

<li>Includes homophone and phonetic lookup functionalities.</li>
<li>Enables output in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese characters.</li>

<li>Supports Zhuyin input methods across standard, Et26, Et41, Hsu, and IBM keyboard layouts.</li>

External Keyboard Compatibility:

<li>Currently, external keyboards are not directly supported by the keyboard extension itself. However, users can leverage features like Clip Pad in split-view mode as an intermediary for input. The auto-copy clipboard functionality provides a practical workaround: simply switch to the target app and paste using the tap or cmd-v command to insert content seamlessly.</li>
